FRONT SIDE
The front holds a protractor, two distance measuring scales and a EET table.
REAR SIDE
The rear side integrates two types of information:
– for use during normal, every day, flights
– for emergency situations (information that we once all knew by heart when we applied for the pilots’ exam, but probably have forgotten today because we never use it – and hopefully will never have to!)
TECHNICAL PROPERTIES
– good readability;
– flexible material to make good contact with the aeroautical chart, unbreakable, no risk to scratch the wind screen when stowed on the dash board;
– rear side printed in reverse for quick turning over: just flip over from bottom to top (in stead of turning it over the full length, like on a regular ruler)
